Technical Development, Design & Site ExecutionCasa Aqua is organized through a series of clean horizontal planes that create an architecture of refined precision and calm sophistication. The design is defined by its interplay of stone, glass, and water, where the structural clarity of exposed slabs is enhanced by a minimal material palette and a careful balance between solidity and transparency.
The entrance sequence is marked by a floating path over a mirror pond that echoes the house’s horizontal gestures, while a diagonal column introduces a subtle tension in the portico. The upper floor, fully glazed and surrounded by a continuous terrace, rests elegantly atop a robust stone plinth, offering uninterrupted views while maintaining a sense of privacy and enclosure.
Inside, the layout privileges openness and flow, connecting social and intimate spaces around water courtyards and landscaped voids. Light filters through large panes and reflects on surfaces of travertine and black aluminum, accentuating the serene atmosphere. The pool and surrounding gardens complete the scheme, turning the residence into an oasis of contemporary elegance anchored in its natural setting.
