Technical Development, Design & Site ExecutionCasa JIB is structured as a dialogue between mass and void, where timber becomes both envelope and filter. The house is organized around a central patio that introduces natural light and vegetation into the core of the project, acting as an anchor for the spatial and circulatory system. The façade, resolved entirely in vertical wooden slats, offers a shifting perception of transparency and opacity depending on the time of day and viewpoint.
A rigorous interplay of concrete, wood, and glass defines the material identity of the house. The roof extends beyond the perimeter of the upper floor, emphasizing horizontality and sheltering both interior and exterior circulations. Visual continuity between inside and outside is reinforced through glazed enclosures and a minimalist interior palette that prioritizes light, texture, and spatial clarity.
