Technical Development, Design & Site ExecutionCocoa House is conceived as a linear pavilion suspended within the forest, where the architecture lightly touches the ground to preserve the natural topography. Elevated on pilotis and wrapped in vertical wooden slats, the house blends into the pine woods while establishing a strong axial organization that frames long, continuous views.
The layout unfolds on a single level, articulating social and private uses through glazed partitions and deep overhangs. The structural expression—defined by exposed concrete, timber cladding, and floor-to-ceiling glass—emphasizes horizontality and openness. The deck and pool extend the domestic space outdoors, reinforcing the house’s intimate relationship with its natural surroundings.
